One last try

I'm taking one more stab at the 2006/2007 season. I'm not going to be able to beat my record of days on the snow (last season was 42), but that's OK, cause this season is going to end with a BANG at Mount Bohemia. Mount Bohemia, in Michigan's Upper Peninsula (UP) is the greatest backcountry in the midwest. It's got the best snow. And they closed in the first few weeks of the season because they--just like everywhere else--got boned by the season. But then someone intervened, and dumped 4 feet of snow on them in a week. IN A WEEK. Now Bohemia is back open for a week, and we're going to go and pillage it one more time. A full trip report will be forthcoming, complete with pictures to boot. Like I said before, never ever give up on the season. And never doubt a skier.
