Granite Peak Is Getting An Uplift

Resorts in this article: Granite Peak Ski Area

Granite Peak, Wisconsin's largest ski area, has been busy putting on a new face.

They've moved the bar in the old, historic chalet upstairs, adding more seating downstairs and better mountain views for those upstairs.  The bar dates back to the 1930s. A beautiful new colored concrete courtyard has been created that will have seating for up to 400 people between the chalet and the slopes.

It will have overhead portable patio heaters and a huge fire pit in the center making it comfortable to sit outside even during winter.

An outdoor grill will be serving up burgers and brats on the weekends, and new big screen TVs in all the lounges will be televising the Packers. It's Cheesehead Country, after all.
