Buck Hill, which over the years has produced several legendary slalom racing greats such as Olympians Kristina Koznic and Lindsey Kildow Vonn, hasn't forgotten where it all starts.
Buck Hill has a new Magic Carpet lift replacing the beginner's rope tow and J-bar for this winter. It will extend to the top of the hill for a huge expansion of beginner terrain and will feature a covered bridge run over another trail.
Located just south of the Twin Cities, thousands of Minnesotans have learned to ski and ride here over the years, and some have become Olympians. The tradition continues.
