Steamboat, home of Colorado's renowned "champagne powder" snow, is offering an exclusive "Kids Fly Free Program" from any city served by United/United Express in the United States and Canada into the Steamboat/Hayden Airport for the 2008-009 winter season.
When a parent purchases a minimum two nights' lodging, lift tickets, and round-trip air on United Airlines, one child (12 and under) flies free under the Kids Fly Free package. The package is available when traveling midweek from Dec. 2-12 and from Jan. 6-Feb.12.
"This program enables families to enjoy significant savings to Steamboat," says resort executive Rob Perlman. "Steamboat is the first ski resort in the country to offer Kids Fly Free, setting the standard in the industry much like it did with Kids Ski Free promotion in the early 1980s.
"Couple the improved guest experience at the Steamboat/Hayden Airport with nearly $30 million in on-mountain improvements over the past three years and guests will benefit from a significantly enhanced vacation experience," Perlman added. "Overall attention to guest service has always been the resort's main goal. And making Steamboat the most accessible resort in Colorado and a true value for families is all just part of the plan."
The Kids Fly Free package is subject to availability and is not available on all flights. The offer on United Airlines is available for booking through Steamboat Central Reservations at (800) 922-2722 or online via Steamboat's "Kids Fly Free" page, and can be combined with other Steamboat Central Reservations special packages.
