The Adamello ski area is offering low cost weekend package deals on accommodation and lift tickets, 28–30 Nov., 12-14 and 19-21 Dec. The “First Snowflakes” package includes two nights, three-star hotel lodging, plus a three-day lift pass for 142 Euros per person. Other packages are available for two nights for 130 Euros, and four-star hotels for three nights at €216 per person.
A ski pass of apparently ever-increasing size centred on Italy's Val di Sole, it includes the lift-linked area of Madonna di Campiglio, Folgarida, and Marilleva, the glacier and summer ski area of Passo Tonale, and the 'White Highlands of Trentino' area.
The Presena Glacier above Passo Tonale in Italy is open throughout the winter season, then remains open from May to August, with five trails between 2738 m and 3016 m on the glacier served by four drag lifts. They are reached by a cable car and chairlift from high altitude Tonale (1883 m). There are two easy, two medium, and one black run.
The nearest airport is Verona, 180 km away. Bergamo is 200 km with Venice a similar distance. Other options are the smaller airport at Bolzano along with Innsbruck to the north. Drivers from Bologna/Trento/Venice/Verona should take the Benner motorway, exit at S Michele All'Adige.
Rail travellers should head for Edolo-Male, then take a bus or taxi the final 30 km.
