"We'll have at least two lifts servicing 2 or 3 runs covered with mostly man-made snow," says Solitude's Nick Como. Warm sunny skies have stymied early ski area openings by the other resorts as of Nov. 13. Alta says they're going to "wait and see" what happens with the alleged storm track sometime during the week of Nov. 12; same goes for Brighton and Park City Mountain Resort. The Canyons will aim for Nov. 21. Snowbird has yet to make a call. "We're blowing snow and planning on watching the weather. We'll open as soon as conditions allow," said Snowbird's Laura Schaffer.
