The Patscherkofl is one of two former Olympic ski sites above the village and is the location of "Kaiser" Franz Klammer's famous all-out victory in the 1976 Men's Downhill. This run was accessed by an aging two-stage gondola, now replaced by the Panoramalift detachable quad. More snowmaking has also recently been installed.
