Tamarack has acquired the outfitting license to run its own snowmobiling operations for the 2007-2008 season. Starting at the resort's 7,700-foot summit, guests now can access more than 350 miles of groomed trails in the Payette River Mountains, along with endless miles of backcountry terrain in the Boise and Payette National Forests. The tours give guests the opportunity to see all of the beautiful backcountry, as well as the potential to interact with wildlife (outside the pub) and to enjoy a dip in the nearby natural hot springs.
