Skiers and riders can join the 24-hour club by checking in at customer service at 8 a.m. Friday, Feb. 29, and checking in every two hours through 8 a.m. Saturday, March 1. Special lift ticket rates are $20 from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m.; $15 from midnight to 8 a.m.; and $10 for the "Sunrise Special" time of 4 a.m. to 8 a.m. Participants will receive prizes throughout the night and be eligible for bigger prizes if they've checked in throughout the period. Advance online registration is required at wachusett.com. The 24-hour event includes a $5,000 ski-drop and secret chair giveaways provided by Baystate Savings Bank and WXLO from Worcester. Skiers and riders can raise cash to benefit the Perkins School by soliciting donations for the number of vertical feet skied during the 24-hour period.
