Connecticut On the March With Snow

Mohawk Mountain kicks things off on Friday, with a womens ski clinic, beginning at 9:30 a.m. and ending at 11:30 a.m. The $62.50 tab includes an all-day lift ticket and lunch. Ski Mount Southington is biz-ay on Saturday with a couple of events. Connecticut snow-riding instructors will be squaring off to see who represents among the state's ski areas. For everyone else, the High Spring Rail Jam snaps at the Stardust Terrain Park, with competition starting at 6:30 p.m. Skiers and snowboarders can participate for a little more than bragging rights.
