Snow Creek, located a few miles north of Kansas City, is offering a great Sunday night beginner special. The Creek offers a $32 lift, rental and lesson special from 4-8 p.m. The lift and rental package is just $12 for children six and under and for seniors, 70 plus. Blackout dates for this offer are Sundays Jan. 21 and Feb. 17. With a 300-foot vertical drop, plenty of snowmaking and six lifts, Snow Creek offers decent snowsports opportunities for snow-starved Kansans and Missourians.
