The resort is 100 percent open with 2,465 acres of skiing and riding terrain heading into the busy spring break season. Tucker Mountain snowcats also are running at Tucker Mountain and Copper Bowl, for expert skiers and riders to rip it up in Copper's high-alpine back bowls. You can hike there or get a free snowcat ride on a first-come, first-served basis. The cat operations and terrain openings are subject to change based on the weather and avalanche levels. The big fun at Copper is coming up with the annual Sunsation end-of-season celebration, April 4-6 and April 11-13. There's free live music and on-hill events. Lodging packages are available starting at $128 a night, based on double occupancy in a silver level hotel room. The number to call is 888-760-4342.
