Chestnut Mountain, the largest ski and snowboard facility in Illinois, will team with the Burton Learn To Ride program this winter to help provide new riders with a solid foundation for quickly improving their skills.
Burton has developed snowboards, boots, and bindings specifically designed for beginner riders. All elements of the new Learn To Ride program, from equipment setup, to instruction, to appropriate terrain, is aimed towards eliminating the stressful pressures of learning a new sport.
They want beginners to feel comfortable enough on a board to be linking turns on their very first day out.
