The Cranbrook, B.C., airport recently expanded its facilities and is in the process of adding international flights. The airport, now known as the Canadian Rockies International Airport, gives quicker access to several resorts in the southern B.C. Rockies - specifically Fernie, Kimberley, and Panorama.

Delta Airlines launches nonstop two-hour flights between Salt Lake City, Utah, and Cranbrook on Dec. 17, 2008. Flights are scheduled three days per week.

The Canadian Rockies International Airport sits 20 minutes from Kimberley; 60 minutes from Fernie; and 90 minutes from Panorama.
