That annual indulgence to gastronomic adventure known as the Lake Tahoe Autumn Food and Wine Festival takes places for the 23rd time Sept. 5-7 in and around the North Lake Tahoe-Truckee area, but mostly at the Village at Northstar resort.

Highlights include daily lunch and dinner specials, kids' activities, expos and seminars, and the piece de resistance, the Grand Tasting and Culinary Competition on Sunday afternoon.

All proceeds benefit the Community Fund of North Lake Tahoe. Full festival schedule is available here.
