Taos' best deal is even better for the 2008-09 season. The Taos Card, a direct-to-lift card, now gives you $12 off the single-day ticket rate during regular season with every seventh day free. Plus, activate it early and save more money.
The cost is $35 through Dec. 19, 2008 ($50 from Dec. 20, 2008 through end of season). Taos Card and Season Pass holders from the 2007–08 season can activate a Taos Card for the renewal price of $20 all season long.
Because you set up autopay through your credit card company, you can head straight to the lifts the moment you get to the resort. You also get discounts on Junior Elite and Kinderkare/Bebekare tickets every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (not valid Dec. 26-28, 2008); $5 off on Adult Ski School Group Lessons; 10 percent off sales and ski demos at Taos Ski & Boot Company; discounts on area food, beer, and wine; and all Taos Card holders ski free April 5, 2009.
Families also save with the Taos Card. The activation fee for child (ages 7–12) and teen (ages 13–17) cards is $20 when activated at the same time and on the same credit card as an adult card. Children six and under ski free with the purchase of an adult lift ticket or sign up your kid for a free season pass when you get your Taos Card. Call (866) 968-7386 ext. 1260 for more info.
