The “Kaya” hotel should finally lay to rest Les Menuires old reputation as one of the ugliest resorts in the Alps, having been originally purpose built in concrete blocks. It has been gradually getting rid of this reputation in recent years with an on-going make over and tasteful new buildings being added. The 43 rooms and suites hotel, due to open at the start of the season in December, will boast a gastronomic restaurant specialising in local produce and many other high spec facilities.
