"It looks like winter wants to come early again this year," said a mountain spokesperson. "Keep up the snow dances."
Crystal is slated to open Nov. 20, but with the fresh snow and cold temperatures skiers and riders are optimistic of an early start to the festivities.
"It seems like it's going to be another early year," says snowboarder Reid Malley. "It's been cold and damp all year and I bet it continues through the winter."
