But Mother Nature temporarily foiled that plan with warm temperatures everywhere the last couple of weeks. However this past weekend saw more seasonal temps return to the north country and Mont-Ste-Anne has fired up the snowguns with an eye toward a Nov. 25 opening day. Forty guns began blowing snow on Sunday on four trails on the north face. With temperatures predicted to drop some more, a total of 100 guns working at capacity should be pumping out the white stuff by Tuesday morning.
