Beginners' Luck at Diamond Peak

Resorts in this article: Diamond Peak

Nestled snuggly in the northeast corner of Lake Tahoe, the Nevada side area prides itself in being a family place, whose gentle, wide-open slopes are easy to navigate. Where better to learn to ski or ride? And Diamond Peak is making it more attractive to neophytes to hone their skills there by introducing a beginner's season pass. The $99 pass gives skiers and boarders access to the School House and Lodgepole lifts, where they can hone their skills in peace and safety. And when they are ready to graduate to more challenging terrain, the price of the beginner's pass can be used toward the purchase of a full season pass.
