Blue grass and white snow are two very good reasons to go to West Virginia. Snowshoe is hosting the first ever Homegrown Music Festival the weekend of March 14. There will be sounds of Appalachia, arts and crafts, and food from the hills. The resort is offering an Appalachian-sized deal in conjunction with the event. Four people can get two nights of lodging and two days of lift tickets for $115 per person, per night. Visit snowshoemtn.com/todo/events/calendar/march/homegrown.htm for more information on the event.
