After some economic hassles from the Utah Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control, owners Tara and Oldie Cinelli have leased their Club Suede to a young entrepreneur from Orem who will add a new restaurant to the Kimball Junction hood and turn it into more of a locals' hangout- with a liquor license- called Playground. In the meantime, the Cinelli's have resurrected their passion for live music in downtown Salt Lake City. The Paladium opened this month (Feb.) a few blocks from another new hotspot. "We're going to rival The Depot," said Tara. "This is the next, bigger Zephyr with free parking." The Zephyr was probably the coolest place to see live rock and blues until high rent shut them down.
