All proceeds go towards the newly-formed Durango Winter Sports Foundation. The local non-profit organization is comprised of the Durango Nordic, Freestyle, and Alpine Skiing Teams. Lift tickets are $10 for kids and $15 for adults. The mountain is then officially open Sunday, Dec. 3. Durango Mountain Resort is moving ahead with its 25-year Master Plan, a plan that includes villages and amenities. The first phase of the $100 million Purgatory Lodge is underway. It will be slopeside, just a few feet from the Village Express six-pack chairlift.
