Marmot Breaks Records

Resorts in this article: Marmot Basin

Marmot Basin is already seeing a stellar year. Due to snowfall and their new snowmaking system, the resort saw their earliest November opening ever and then followed by opening East Eagle double black diamond terrain and Knob Chair early. The record that precipitated the others, of course, is snowfall - 64 inches fell in November, topping their previous record set in 1990. "Every run on the mountain is in incredible shape," continues Rode. "The runs are buried wall to wall in snow, and those who have made it to Marmot so far this season have had powder skiing and riding each day."
