The Mount Tremper resort has been eight years and many revisions in the making. It includes two lodge complexes, two hotels and a golf course and is on target for at least a partial opening in late 2010. The development firm and the governor of New York say the resort has been approved by environmental groups, although not everyone is on board. Mount Tremper also has a few government hurdles to jump before ground is broken and construction goes forward.
