Skicross World Championships Moved to Madonna

The Championships were first staged two years ago, in Ruka, Finland and pending final agreement from the Vancouver Organizing Committee for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, the 2010 Winter Games could be the first to feature this exciting sport. Madonna recently had five inches of new snow bringing base depths up to 75cm (30 inches) on upper slopes and more snow is forecast for the next week.
