Aussie ski fields have top June conditions for the start of the Australian school holidays. All resorts have enjoyed above average early season snow dumps and there's snow forecast all this week. The New South Wales resorts of Thredbo, Perisher Blue, Charlotte Pass and Selwyn Snowfields stand to receive the best part of the weather with more snow as a cold front if forecast to sweep the southern region. The current snow storm in Thredbo has closed some roads around Cooma and brought a further twenty centimetres to Perisher Blue in the past twenty four hours. Cold conditions have allowed for snow making to increase the natural depth at both New South Wales and Victorian ski areas. All Australian resorts are now open with twenty one lifts operating in Perisher Blue.
