They're celebrating spring in Aspen by keeping some of the lifts running longer. Right now, through the end of the season certain lifts at each mountain will stay open until 4 p.m. daily. The Silver Queen Gondola and Ajax Express At Aspen Mountain will stay open longer. The chairs with extended hours at Aspen Highlands are Exhibition and Cloud Nine. You can ride the Summit Express and Panda Peak until 4 p.m. at Buttermilk. Lifts that are staying open longer At Snowmass are the Village Express, Big Burn, and Elk Camp Gondola. The Sky Cab gondola stays open until 5 p.m. All other lifts operate until 3:30 p.m. each day.
