Fly The Friendly Skies To Big Sky
Nov 13, 2007 By Dan Giesin
Montana's Big Sky Resort, whose 4,300 vertical feet and 5,500 acres of accessible terrain allow it to call itself "The biggest skiing in America," is now a short hop from the San Francisco Bay Area. The resort, in partnership with United Airlines, will operate weekly nonstop jet service from San Francisco International Airport to Bozeman, a 45-minute drive north of Big Sky. The first of these Saturday-only flights takes off Dec. 15, with the final winter flight scheduled March 29, 2008 (the resort also has a summertime SFO-Bozeman flight). To book a flight or to get more information, call Big Sky Central Reservations (800-548-4486) and ask to be connected to the air department.
