On a strip of machine-made snow on Speculation Run, weekend skiers dialed in a few turns down 400 vertical feet before hopping back on the Cascade Chair. As storms rolled through Banff Sunday night, the rest of the ski hill saw a blanket of white. All in preparation for Wednesday, November 15, when racers arrive. As coaches set up gates in lanes, some teams get their first taste of the winter season.
