New Hampshire's Crotched Mountain opened its Bennington area top-to-bottom Nov. 24 on two lifts and a mix of terrain. Elsewhere, Loon opened its upper mountain the day before Thanksgiving and expanded into top-to-bottom terrain over the weekend, with three lifts and eight trails. The new South Peak terrain is expected to open by mid-December.
