The Kulm Hotel in St. Moritz will celebrate the end of winter with an evening concert from one of the leaders of the American big band jazz scene: the Clayton-Hamilton Orchestra.
The jazz orchestra will play 10 p.m. to midnight, March 25. Tickets are priced at CHF48 (€38).
Since its foundation in 1985, the Clayton-Hamilton Jazz Orchestra has been made up of drummer Jeff Hamilton, bassist John Clayton, and his saxophone playing brother Jeff. Also joining them in St. Moritz will be guitarist and singer John Pizzarelli, "the modern Frank Sinatra" who is also the son of the legendary Bucky Pizzarelli.
The Kulm hotel also hosts wine tasting and live jazz music every Thursday evening throughout the season.
Kulm Hotel St Moritz was the first hotel to be built in St Moritz, the Kulm opened its doors in 1856. A member of The Leading Hotels of the World, the Kulm Hotel has 173 rooms, five restaurants (formal dining, French fine dining awarded 15 points by GaultMillau, Italian, local Engadine specialities and Japanese), the extensive Panorama SPA & Health Club (with a 20-metre indoor pool, various saunas and steam room, a hot tub, a fully-equipped gym and treatment rooms, all with views over Lake St Moritz) and six conference rooms, with capacities ranging from 50 to 500 people.
