Appalachian Ski Mtn. has set the Meltdown Games for Saturday and Sunday, March 26-27.
"Winter isn't over until we say it is," quoth Appalachian's Drew Stanley. "Come enjoy Appalachian's classic end of the winter celebration. It's a full weekend of crazy events you won't see any other time of the year, with lots of snow, sun, and skin."
The Winter Meltdown Games schedule Saturday March 26: The Impossible Box Contest is at 10:30 a.m., the Cardboard Box Derby is at 11:30 a.m., ski and snowboard Big Air is at 1:30 p.m., and the Trash Bag Downhill Race is at 5 p.m.
The K2 Pop This High Ollie Contest is at 11:30 a.m., the Pond Skim and Costume Contest is at 2 p.m., and the Chinese Downhill is at 5 p.m. Sunday, March 27.
All events are free with a lift ticket. Participants are encouraged to take their best shot at tons of prize categories.
