Chamonix's spring ski holidays include hotel accommodation and ski passes with access to good snow at high altitudes.
The end-of-season packages all include five nights of accommodation and a four-day Mont-Blanc Unlimitied ski pass. Prices vary according to hotel choice: €365 per person in a two-star hotel; €470 in a three-star hotel; and €730 in a four-star hotel. The ski and stay deals are valid March 26 to April 22.
The Mont-Blanc Unlimited ski pass opens up all ski areas of the Chamonix Mont-Blanc Valley and Courmayeur in Italy, as well as the Aiguille du Midi cable car and the cog railway of Montenvers (Mer de Glace).
Located beneath Western Europe's highest peak and with several glaciers in its ski area, Chamonix has a great snow record and is one of the safer bets for a spring ski holiday. The village is quite low compared to the French purpose-built ski stations, but the ski lifts climb thousands of metres above, opening up the world's biggest lift served vertical, so even when there isn't snow at resort level, there's invariably plenty up above. Chamonix is particulalry popular with off-pisters for its long runs that stretch for miles.
