Brian Head Resort heads into the final month of the ski and snowboard season with hopes of keeping the lifts running until April 24.
April skiing and riding in southern Utah gets more attractive with several lodging packages at Brian Head, all offered through the end of the season.
The Grand Lodge at Brian Head near the base of the mountain has a $189 per night special (double occupancy) that runs Sundays through Thursday until closing day. Accommodations include a queen or king room, two Brian Head adult lift tickets, and two appetizers at The Lift Lounge & Patio for each night's stay.
The same deal costs $199 per night for Friday and Saturday nights. The 100-room lodge, recently refurbished, features stone, timber and log walls, rough-hewn wood, wood beam ceilings and stone fireplaces. Guests can relax in the indoor pool with indoor and outdoor hot tubs, a fitness center, and the Red Leaf Spa.
The Cedar Breaks Lodge and Spa, a slopeside lodge, offers a three days of free skiing with a three-night stay for Sunday, Monday or Tuesday nights. The package includes villa accommodations and tickets for $268 and runs through April 23. The 13-year-old lodge has 118 villas with seven different floor plans. Amenities include underground parking, restaurants, indoor pool, steam room, dry sauna, two hot tubs, and fitness room.
