Celebrate spring with two weeks of fun festivities, on and off the mountain at Vail. Spring Back to Vail is a big end-of-season Rocky Mountain bashe April 15-24. Almost everything is free, too, with concerts, sweepstakes, and a front row seat to the World Pond Skimming Championships on Vail's closing day, April 24.
National headliners will be on stage with free concerts at the street parties. Grace Potter and the Nocturnals kick things off Friday, April 15. Grammy award winning group Train performs the next day. The Greyboy Allstars take the stage Sunday, April 17.
The concerts continue the following weekend, when Shpongle presents the Shpongletron Experience at the Solaris Plaza Friday, April 22. Stephen Marley is on stage on Saturday. Sunday, April 24, is closing day at Vail. Musical entertainment features Chris Velan and Sierra Leone's Refugee All Stars. All times and locations have yet to be announced.
Vail is offering lift ticket deals and lodging packages on the Spring Back to Vail website. Enjoy two weeks of unlimited skiing and riding for $199 April 10-24. You will need to purchase the pass online, at least seven days in advance. This gives enough time to have your tickets shipped to you, if you need them. The price can work out to less than $15 per day. The cost goes up to full price, if you wait until you arrive to buy your tickets.
