Les Gets has launched a new website: lesgets.com. The redesigned site combines the activities of the resort's tourism office with its lift authority, Sagets, giving visitors a single Internet address where they can find all of the information they need to plan a holiday.

The new version offers more interactive components built around the different themes that make up the resort, such as the village, winter sports, golfing, mountain biking, and family activities.

The website also eliminates the difference between winter and summer versions. The resort's year-round offer is present on a single site, but users will find them in different categories. It is automatically updated so visitors have access to the most recent news about what's going on at Les Gets.

A greater use of photos makes the site more visually attractive. It makes better use of Web 2.0 features: there is an official Facebook page as well as a YouTube channel, LesGetsTV, where visitors can view videos of the resort. The resort has also created its own Twitter feed so that followers can get news in real time.

Les Gets is working on a mobile phone version of these features, which should be available soon.
