Boreal Mountain Resort is launching a 10-day sale on next year's season passes. The passes can be customized with special add ons, and they can be used this year, too.

Boreal's season pass sale is set to run March 25 until April 3. The sale boasts discounts up to 40 percent off on season passes for 2011-12. Any passes purchased during the sale are also valid for unlimited skiing and riding for the remainder of this year's season.

Anytime Season Passes, which are valid every day plus night skiing, are available during the sale. The passes cost $239 for adults, $129 for seniors, $79 for children, and $39 for seniors 70 years and older.

Night passes, which cost $129, are also on sale. They are valid for day skiing until Thanksgiving and then again in spring during the day after lifts stop running at night for the season. They also permit early night access starting at 2:30 p.m. instead of 3:30 p.m.

Season passes can be customized with add ons during the sale. A BagJump Pass to practice jumps can be added on for $99-129. Unlimited group lessons or rentals can be added on for $129 each.

Those purchasing Boreal passes can use the season passes for benefits at other resorts. Benefits include 20 percent off lift tickets at Soda Springs Winter Resort, Donner Summit, Park City Mountain Resort, Copper Mountain, Mt. Bachelor Ski Resort, Las Vegas Ski and Snowboard Resort, Killington, and Pico Resorts.
