Nubs Nob, one of northern Michigan's premier ski areas, is planning to stay open through April 10, and late season skiing and riding at the Nob is always a treat.
The late season discount period begins March 21. It's some of the best conditions of the year with spring fast approaching. What more could you ask for; longer days, warming temps and reduced rates through the end of the season. Daily lift tickets will be $35 for adults and teens. Children, 9-12, are $28 and kids eight and under are free.
Spring Ski & Ride promotion also begins on that date. Your lift tickets are included in your lodging rate when staying at one of the participating lodging properties in the Petoskey/Harbor Springs area.
You can get a room, continental breakfast and lift ticket for $42 per person, per night, based on double occupancy. Follow the Petoskey Area CVB link below for participating hotels and motels.
The 49th Annual Nub's Nob Open - northern Michigan's premier slalom racing event - takes place Saturday, March 19. It will be a top to bottom World Cup style slalom race held on Birch Run and Smokey. There's an $8 entry fee.
Saturday, March 26, Nubs throws out its version of Mardi Gras. It's always a blast with fun and games for all. There's a costume contest, Crazy Couples contest, races, and don't miss the Soaker Cup Challenge; a real crowd pleaser. The Petoskey Steel Drum Band will be performing on the deck.
