Revelstoke Mountain Resort is reveling in more snow this year than last year. The British Columbia resort, which plans to operate until Easter, has rolled out March specials for lift tickets and lodging.
By early March, Revelstoke amassed a snow pack much deeper than last year with storm cycles still dropping powder. "It's not spring here yet!" spokesperson Ashley Tait told us. "Conditions are incredible." The resort had already passed the 800-centimeter mark with two months remaining in the season.
Revelstoke has introduced several lift ticket deals for skiers and snowboarders in March. The discounted lift tickets are available online at 15 percent off weekends and 25 percent off weekdays. Vertical Card Holders can purchase additional days online at 30 percent off. Season passholders from any Canadian ski resort can also get 25 percent off the full day ticket rate.
The resort has also put together several ski and stay specials. The March Powder Pass combines one night at Nelsen Lodge and a free day of skiing for $175 CAN per person. The same package is also available at the Sandman Hotel Revelstoke for $119 CAN per person. Both packages require double occupancy.
A three-night package combined with three days of skiing is available at both hotels, too.
The package costs $85 CAN per person per night at the Sandman and $125 CAN per person per night at Nelsen Lodge, based on double occupancy.
Families can get a deal for the kids in March at Nelsen Lodge and Sandman Hotel. Kids 12 years old and younger can stay, ski, and rent free. Purchasing adult lift tickets is required to get the deal for kids.
Revelstoke runs its lifts for spring skiing daily through April 10. But two bonus weekends are planned with lifts spinning again April 16-17 and April 22-24.
