Experience four days of partying in Crans-Montana at Switzerland's most eminent winter music festival.

The Caprice Festival will be held April 6-9 and will welcome international stars for prestigious concerts at Le Régent Congress Centre and throughout the resort.

This April will mark the eigth edition of the festival. The programme features concerts from Ben L'Oncle Soul, Cocoon, Dunbfire, Aaron, Zaz, Arno, David Rodigan, Million Stylez, Lilly Wood & The Prick, and many more.

The festival is divided in to the Festival IN (playing from international stars) and the Festival OFF (free, more informal events). Tickets for the concerts are available from the Caprices Festival Web site.

The Caprices City Bus will provide public service to the Festival from 12 cities of the French-speaking part of Switzerland.

The resort's ski area (1500-3000m) features 140 kilometres of pistes linked by 28 modern lifts. There is also 25 kilometres of cross-country trails on the glacier. The day's ski pass costs CHF63 (€42) for adults and CHF38 (€26) for children.

Crans Montana has upgraded its ski area this year with a new detachable four-seater chairlift to replace two old installations between Cry-d'Er and Bellalui. It will carry 2400 guests per hour over a distance of 1.5 kilometres and offers panoramic views from 2528 metres.
