Seven Springs Mountain Resort in Pennsylvania has a weekend of fun planned for kids and their families March 18 to 20.
The weekend events begin with a bonfire and snow tubing party 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Snow Tubing Park.
They continue Saturday morning, when guests can see what it's like to work at a ski resort, take part in a slalom race and snow tubing race, make an ice cream sundae, participate in a golf chipping contest, play tug of war, and hop in the pool.
The weekend finishes up on Sunday with photos, hockey, a crazy hat dual slalom race, and a bonfire and snow tubing party.
Seven Springs is located in the Laurel Highlands of western Pennsylvania, and offers skiers and riders great variety of terrain served by an impressive lift system. Seven Springs has 41 slopes and trails and six parks and pipes on 285 skiable acres, 750-foot vertical, with terrain gentle or daunting enough for skiers of any level, served by 15 lifts: two six-packs, three quads, five triples, three surface lifts, and two conveyors.
