Mount St. Louis Moonstone Ski Resort is giving students a break during Ontario's Break week, March 14-18, with some attractive lift rates, and they are only good that week.
A youth (13-17) lift ticket is $36 CA ($36.49 US), a junior (6-12) is $29 CA ($29.40 US), and a College/University student lift ticket is $36 CA. Valid proof of enrollment is required for college students.
The ski and snowboard rental equipment daily rate is $37 CA ($37.50 US) for youth and $31 CA ($31.42 US) for a junior. Half-day rates are $32 CA ($32.44 US) and $29 CA respectively.
Moonstone offers a 550-foot vertical drop, 40 runs with a nice mix of difficulty, two super pipes, and two terrain parks. Both the resort's parks and pipe were ranked among the top five along the North American East Coast this year in Transworld Snowboarding magazine.
One thing you won't have to do is wait in a lift line. It's one of the best equipped ski areas in the Heartland for moving people uphill with three six-person high-speed chair lifts, a quad express lift, three quad normal lifts, two triple chairs, and three magic carpets.
Located in Ontario's snowbelt along Georgian Bay, the resort is a little over an hour-and-a-half north of Toronto. It offers one of the longest snow sports seasons in the province.
