Two inland British Columbia resorts have put together a deal for families with kids. Big White Ski Resort and Silver Star Mountain Resort have designed a spring break deal for kids to stay and ski for free.
Kids 12 years old and younger are able to stay and ski free during their spring break vacations at the two resorts. Big White and Silver Star are offering different options for families, both with a three-night minimum stay.
Families heading to Big White can get the deal for their children from March 4 to April 9. Silver Star is offering a similar package, but it is only available to North American residents March 1-26.
Those staying in select properties at either resort can get one complimentary child lift pass per purchased adult pass. A maximum of two free child passes are available for those staying in one- or two-bedroom units, including condos, vacation homes, and hotels. Families staying in three-bedroom condos and vacation homes can get a maximum of four free passes. Ask for code "5A" when booking and clarify special conditions.
Big White and Silver Star are also participating in two other lift ticket deals for visitors. Adults from Washington and Oregon can take advantage of the Shell Gas Station deals even though British Columbia Shell stations are not participating in the program.
Visitors coming from Washington and Oregon can pick up vouchers at Shell Gas Stations to use at Big White and Silver Star. To get the voucher requires purchasing 10 gallons of gas. The vouchers grant one free adult full day lift ticket with the purchase of another full day adult lift ticket. The vouchers are accepted Mondays through Fridays until April 10 at Big White and until April 3 at Silver Star.
Skiers and snowboarders purchasing multi-day lift tickets at Big White can use them at their sister mountain Silver Star. Day trips to Silver Star run twice a week and can be booked through the Big White's activities desk.
