Echo Mountain hosts some of the biggest events of the year through spring just as other resorts begin winding down. Make your way to Denver's closest resort to take part in, or watch, some of the best amateur skiers and snowboarders in the area.
The Under The Lights Race League has been ongoing since the end of January. Races continue each Monday through March 21. The Giant Slalom format race is open to ski and snowboard divisions for racers 18 years and older. Registration takes place in the Lodge beginning at 6 p.m. each race night. Gates are set at 6:30 p.m. with racing going down from 7 to 9 p.m. The cost is $40 per night with lift ticket, or $20 per night with an Echo season pass.
Liptricks Not Lipstick goes down Saturday, March 19. Help celebrate Echo's 5th birthday, and show your skills in The Junkyard Terrain Park on signature features including the Burton Stair Set. The Junkyard will be in full effect with multiple jibs catering to an all-ability jam format. Here's your chance to win cold, hard cash and other great prizes. Registration begins at 9 a.m. the morning of the event, or you can register on Echo's website.
Take your riding and freestyle skills to the next level during the 5th Annual Sims Pro Series Snowboard Camp March 26-27. The weekend features two full days of clinics, demos, and instruction with Sims Pros and certified snowboard instructors from Echo's Ski and Ride School. Open to advanced beginner levels and above. April 30 marks the Last Park Standing competition. Don't miss Echo's premier event of the season showcasing the biggest build of the year, huge prizes, and a sponsorship village.
May Meltdown is the event not to be missed for Echo junkies. The end-of-the-season party features the Intergalactic Pond Skim, high ollie contests, and a mini rail jam. Get your last jib in for the season while enjoying a great spring day on the slopes with your friends and family.
