Staged at Rübeldorf at 7.30pm on the 16th, High Fly combines, "A touch of punk, a hint of anarchy, utter independence and the peak of professionalism – freestyle sport as it was meant to be," say the organisers. This year's brash freestyle show once again promises to showcase explosive freeskiing, snowboarding and even motocross performances. The rock-inspired evening programme will also be sizzling, featuring Riddick Jones, The Monsters and Mahara McKay aka DJ Roksy. Virtually all ski lifts and runs are open in Gstaad's extensive, multi-sector ski area. The greatest snow depth is up on the glacier which has five feet (150cm) of snow. The exception is the small and comparatively low lying Chateau d'Oex sector which has only four – to six inches (10-15cm) of snow and only one run/surface tow operating from its nine lifts at the last report.
