Wachusett Mountain Ski Area in Princeton, Mass., is selling Rest of the Season Passes for $139.
The passes are good for skiing anytime from March 1 to the end of the season, which right now is projected to be Sunday, April 3.
That's the date of the end-of-the-season pond skimming party.
Wachusett also is selling an upgrade to its Bronze Century Passes, which transforms them into Unlimited Passes good for skiing and riding anytime from March 1 to the end of the season. The upgrade costs $109.
Wachusett Mountain is the highest peak in New England south of New Hampshire and east of the Connecticut River, which is another way of saying the highest peak in Eastern Massachusetts.
The lifts run at Wachusett 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. weekdays, and 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. weekends. Two high-speed quads, two triples, and four surface lifts service 22 trails.
The popular Central Massachusetts resort has an array of events coming up in March.
These include the Massachusetts Senior Games March 2; Women's Snowboard Day March 3; the Ralph Crowley Classic March 4; Women's Fest March 4; the Great Race finale for the Night Race League March 5; the Good Race March 6; Massachusetts Special Olympics Winter Games March 12-13; and the Great Boston Ski & Snowboard Race March 27.
