Terry Peak Likes President's Day

March can be a great month for skiing in the Black Hills with optimum snow conditions and warming temperatures. Terry has the greatest vertical drop among the Midwest giants with over 1,100 feet. The top of the mountain, which peaks out at a little over 7,200 feet above sea level, is one of the highest peaks between the Rockies and the Alps in Europe. Add to that the charm of the Old Wild West in nearby Deadwood, and it's one of the most unique ski trips in the Heartland. North Dakota native, Ben Suchy, will be bringing his Delta style blues and touch of folk to the Dark Horse Saloon at Terry Peak this weekend on Saturday, March 3. There's no cover charge at the door, and it's the last weekend for the acoustic music series.
