Blue Mountain Ski Area of Danielsville, Pa., is running a video contest for budding filmmakers.
Contest rules are simple: Make a video about skiing or snowboarding at Blue Mountain, one to three minutes long, and send it in by March 1, 2011.
There are a few more rules: Only one video is allowed per person; the content must be PG-13, with no explicit language or nudity; and a completed submission form must accompany the video.
Viewing and awards will take place at 6 p.m. March 10 in the VIP/CLUB room at Blue Mountain. Everyone is invited to watch, but contestants need not be present to win.
First prize is a $200 gift card, with the winning video featured on Blue Mountain's website and Facebook page, and posted on Youtube. Second prize is a $100 gift card, and video posted on YouTube. Third prize is a $50 gift card, and video posted on YouTube.
Prizes go to the video editors.
Submit videos by CD or DVD to Blue Mountain Ski Area, Marketing Department, P.O. Box 216, Palmerton, PA, 18071. Or e-mail a YouTube link. a completed entry form must be sent either case.
