Bad Gastein is hosting the 10th Snow Jazz Festival March 18-27.
The event allows visitors to combine world-class skiing with live music, which takes place in the concert hall in the evenings and in the ski lodges during the day.
This year the festival will be a nostalgic celebration of bygone days with "Déjà vu" being the motto. Sepp Grabmaier at Team Snow Jazz Gastein says: "Every year, our festival fascinates with its exceptional quality and has won over a lot of fans, even far beyond Austria's borders."
The resort is offering the Snow Jazz Weekend package priced from €210 per person valid for March 18-20 and March 25-27. The two-night package includes accommodation, a two-day ski pass, jazz concerts Friday and Saturday, and one admission to the Gastein thermal springs.
The package prices depends on the accommodation chosen: bed and breakfast starts at €210; three-star hotel with half-board from €251; four-star hotel with half-board €303; and five-star hotel with half-board €370.
Bad Gastein offers access to 200 kilometres of slopes located up to 2700 metres altitude. Winter terrain is available for all levels with gentle family slopes, carving hills, deep off-piste powder, challenging mogul runs, and floodlit trails. Cross country skiers also have more than 90 kilometres of tracks; the high trail at 1600 metres guarentees good snow conditions late in the season.
